The Laguna Creek High School library is responsible for textbook circulation four times each year. During the first week of each term only, students may use a barcoded schedule or a current LCHS student ID to check out textbooks. After the first week, only a current LCHS student ID will be accepted for checkout of textbooks and/or library materials. Student must return all overdue textbooks and library materials before checking out any new books. Students are financially responsible for all textbooks and equipment that they checkout. If books are returned damaged, damage fines will be assessed. If books are lost or stolen, the student is responsible for the full cost of the book. If damage or lost fines cannot be paid in full, students may begin a payment agreement contract with $5.00. Students on payment agreement must make payments each term in order to checkout books until the fine is satisfied. Payments can be made with cash, checks (no checks accepted after April 1), or money orders. Checks should be made out to EGUSD and the student’s name and ID number should be written on the check.
Students who require an additional set of textbooks because of special needs will need to have the following:
- Doctor’s letter requesting the extra set based on medical need
- A signed “Request for Additional Textbooks” must be signed and returned to the library.
